The Challenge:

Create a dynamic new digital experience.

After our successful launch of the new brand, Vertex asked us to upgrade their website to reflect their new look, global presence, and enterprise-level focus. This new website would also need to present Vertex’s comprehensive suite of solutions, optimize the user experience across all screen sizes, differentiate itself from competitors, and educate and engage its key audiences.

  • The new Vertex website not only featured real Vertex employees, but was designed to also ensure that they looked great on every device and screen.

  • The website's design and imagery were created with an air of “Approachable Sophistication” to showcase the friendliness and professionalism of Vertex.

  • Throughout the site, Garfield helped Vertex reorganize and repackage their valuable content offerings to make sure each was distinguishable and accessible.

  • In addition to becoming the hub for all things Vertex and all things Tax, the new website also became home to all email campaign landing pages, directing users to specific content and driving new leads.

Working through a comprehensive strategic approach that teamed Garfield with Vertex shareholders, we defined audience personas, information architecture and user experience in great detail. This led us to creating an improved site experience across all devices that uses Drupal as the CMS for easy maintenance and future evolution.

Not only is the site far more functional and visually appealing, it also supports existing clients, nurtures potential customers with new content and educational tools, and enhances the buying experience. In addition to an improved organic search, the site can now measure increases in engagement while capturing information about key audiences. It’s a site worthy of its new brand and provides a strong foundation to fuel continued growth.
