Our growing team.
We’re delighted to announce four new hires (including one who’s returned back to the nest) that have added a breadth of experience and talent to our public relations, branding, and digital capabilities. Each brings a strong background working with technology and innovative brands, and is already making valuable contributions to the ideas and insights we deliver for our clients.
Andy Gotlieb joins us as a Public Relations Writer. Andy has spent his entire career in public relations and journalism, beginning as a newspaper reporter for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Tampa Tribune, and Philadelphia Business Journal. He then shifted to the Public Relations side, working at Gregory FCA Communications, the Bellevue Communications Group, and Slice Communications. He has a BA from Washington University and an MA in Journalism from the University of South Florida.
Cassandra Grob, also known as Cassie, has returned to Garfield as Senior Account Executive. A native of Seattle (you know, those SuperBowl winners), and graduate of the University of Washington, she had originally joined us in September 2011, providing public relations counsel for accounts that included Neat, Voxware, Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic, and the PACT Enterprise Awards. Most recently, she was with the Cline Group, focused on gaining market traction for Israel- and U.S.-based tech start-ups.
Julia Napolitano is a new Associate Account Executive. A May 2013 graduate of Temple University with a major in Strategic Communications, Julia brings a tremendous enthusiasm for everything she does. Her PR skills were honed as a Junior Associate at Gregory FCA Communications and as an intern at Coburn Communications in New York City, working with clients in technology, enterprise software, big data, and manufacturing.
Beth Burnston comes aboard as a Senior Account Executive, and the newest member of our account team. Most recently, she led multi-channel digital and branding campaigns for a variety of clients at MRM in Princeton, NJ. Clients she’s worked with include ETS (Educational Testing Service, the good folks behind the SAT Test) and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. Beth is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Rowan University — and during her time there interned with the New York Jets, Comcast SportsNet, and The Kimmel Center.
